We go through a lot of pickles at our house. An obscene amount, seriously. If you are the same, here is a relatively easy thing to do with a jar. You will need some twine, a jar and a glue gun.
Get a jar, remove the label and fill with some bleach and water overnight to get rid of any funky smells. This one is ready for a wrap job. I have this monster twine that is really not good for much of anything around here. Its super stiff, I should have gotten the smaller twine. Hot glue the starting point then just glue occasionally as you start the wrap process.
Keep wrapping!
Hairy little thing, isn't it? I think that adds to the charm.
Looks nice, but a little naked for gift giving.
All dolled up and ready for giving. I attached a gift tag and a fabric and feather pin.
View from the top... so excited to give this little Pickle Jar Present away for Christmas!

I love it! Now you need to do a tutorial on the tag! That's just as precious.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't email you back because of non-replyblogger so I'm hoping back to answer your question. The metal wire trees in front of the fireplace are attached. It's one long piece.
