Turns out that part I call the water squirter thingy is actually a spray arm.
I kinda like my name better.
I did what the post told me, and my washer is happily scrubbing away as I type! Ahhhhh!
I wonder how much money that saved on a service call or a new dishwasher?

Yep. My handyman (aka hunky hubs)cleaned mine out the other day since it wasn't washing properly. The other thing you may find is that if the drain/strainer has been filled with rubbish, then your spray arm potentially is filled with gunk too. Just take it off and wash it out in your sink (that is one hand wash job that will save you a bunch of time later!)
